On the west wall of the Cimarron Inn, Tucumcari Artists Doug Quarles and wife Sharon,
created a mural depicting the history of Cimarron, some of its characters, and the Santa Fe
Trail. The Quarles' are renown for their paintings and murals and have captured the spirit of
Cimarron as the Heart of the Historic West.
