Cimarron Inn’s Cowboy Cabin was a brand new addition in July 2005. The rustic cedar siding on the exterior of the Cowboy Cabin and colorful flower boxes set the mood for a pleasant, western experience. Our guests enter through a 12’ x 12’ screened-in porch--ideal for relaxing and enjoying Cimarron’s fine climate. The interior features oak hardwood floors and cedar walls and is decorated attractively and whimsically with a cowboy theme. The living area includes a denim-covered day bed with trundle bed that sleeps two; the bedroom in the rear has a queen bed. There is a loft that has two twin beds.
The kitchen features attractive oak cabinets, a full size refrigerator, electric smooth top “self-cleaning range”, microwave, coffee pot and toaster. The bathroom has a tub and shower with bandana shower curtain and thick, plush towels. For large groups staying in the Cowboy Cabin we also include keys to the nearby Bath House, which has additional toilets and showers. Families from two people enjoying a romantic getaway to groups of six have all enjoyed their stay at the Cimarron Inn’s Cowboy Cabin.
One of the things we’ve done in decorating the Cowboy Cabin is to feature photos and information about some of the famous cowboys of Cimarron country. We hope our guests will not only enjoy their stay in the Cowboy Cabin, but also come away with a new appreciation for the rich history of this area.
